Our current needs are as follows:   Regional Sales Position   We are searching for a sales representative for selling in a business to business environment. If you are a results-oriented self-starter with an ability to work autonomously whilst still being part of a successful team, then we are interested in talking to you. This position will be responsible for generating new business, as well as acting as a consultant to our existing customer base. Thermoform and packaging industry experience is preferred, but we are willing to train the right candidate. Some travel is required. Projects will require the individual in this position to design, develop, and implement new primary and secondary thermoform packaging from concept through production. will be responsible for: Cost estimation of packaging components Design from concept through production Management of multiple projects simultaneously We require our Designer/ Engineer to function successfully in a high paced results-oriented environment. 2-5 years Solid Works and thermoform industry experience. To have initiative and a pro active approach to sales and customer service as well as a “go the extra mile” attitude. Applicant need not have experience in thermoforming but would be a plus. Algus will train the right candidate with a mechanical background. Must have stable employment history over the past 3 years. High school degree preferred or GED equivalent. Duties for this Position Starts and stops machine operation to detect malfunctions of machine. Conducts quality checks for consistency of polystyrene sheets to detect machinery malfunctions. Coordinates and records daily production activities.
