<< Back ALGUS PACKAGING INTRODUCES EASYLoadR™ INFEED SYSTEM AT PACKEXPO 2005   Las Vegas , Sept.26 - Conceived by industry pioneer Art Gustafson in response to a customer's needs, the ergonomically sensitive Algus EASYLoadR™ infeed system was designed to satisfy in-plant portability and increased production requirements. This cost-effective system allows for larger production loading areas, decreased cycle times, and lower labor and production costs.   By replacing lateral loader bins with overhead bins, the EASYLoadR infeed system alleviates repetitive motion injuries, simplifies complex packaging jobs, and helps pace and increase productivity.   The standard fully automated EASYLoadR is 73"high x 48" wide x 302" long with 11 open product load stations, with a 12” x 16” work area (custom lengths are available for additional or a reduced amount of load stations) automated feeders for inserts and/or blister cards with outside loading. Other features include an independent electro-mechanical drive system, and full PLC control with 5" touch panel. Hinged metal/Lexan® service doors allow for easy access to the feeder drive system for set-up and service.   Tooling accessories include 29 product carrier nests, a blister and card magazine, a blister plug rack and transfer suction rack. Also available is a quick change tooling feature and additional feeders for multiple insert feeding.   The EASYLoadR is designed to integrate with the Algus 8SR 1216, an eight-station rotary heat sealing machine for a finished product pack-out. .
